Very informative book, but...

I enjoyed the ideas behind this book. I am very interested in buying and managing websites and this is a great primer. I have already started using the first few steps in this plan and the steps are straightforward and well explained.
There were a few things that kept me from giving this book 5 stars. None of the links highlighted in the book guide the reader to any of the books or sites mentioned. The screen shots are far to small to be read on any of my ereaders. They would have been very helpful while I was reading this book. The author also refers to a special book he has included at the end of the book, but it is nowhere to be found.
The information about how to evaluate a website for sale was invaluable to a newbie like me. I was willing to throw myself into buying sites until I read this book. It stopped me in my tracks and made me set up a business plan based on what I need out of a site and what I want to put into it.
A great book for beginners like myself. I'm sure I'll refer to it again and again as I go along.

This is that rare book with a call to arms backed by a solid plan of action. With no fluff or BS, Colin takes you step by step through his system of selecting and buying websites that produce your desired income and take little time to maintain. This isn't a get rich scheme or even the promise of riches. It is simply a plan to get you out of the rat race.

This "book" (which, to me, is a misnomer because it is REALLY short) is basically a lesson on how to use Flippa.com to buy web sites, and to use your head about the ones you consider buying. No secrets here -- I feel ripped off.
