Útil y refrescante de principio a fin para mi cartera

Toma el Control de tu Dinero me parece uno de los libros más útiles de finanzas personales que he leído. Te acompaña en el camino que cada uno debemos trazar a la prosperidad, te hace pensar (las respuestas rápidas y prefabricadas en esto no funcionan) y además te permite ver áreas de oportunidad, nuevos temas y riesgos que posiblemente no hayas pensado.
La autora es coach financiero certificado y se nota. Más que un libro es un proceso y como todo proceso tiene resultados.
Me llamó la atención especialmente los cuadros, están super fáciles de entender pero muy bien trabajados y sustentados. Y creo que un tema que casi no viene en este tipo de libros: cómo calcular el valor del trabajo en el hogar.
Es de consulta y lo tengo en mi buró. Excelente, de verdad.

Más que finanzas personales

La autora presenta una teoría que suena tan sencilla cuando te la explican, pero que es tan, pero tan, pero TAN difícil de entender:
La ruta es: "Ser-Hacer-Tener". Y no al revés.
Es decir, no hago algo y por eso soy; no tengo algo y por eso soy.
Pero más importante: Primero hago y después tengo. Cuánto hubiera yo querido entender esto cuando me ahogaba en las tarjetas de crédito.
Y esta teoría de Ser-Hacer-Tener puede aplicar en muchas áreas de nuestra vida y no únicamente en las finanzas.
Y que para poder hacer un cambio en mi manera de actuar, tengo que cambiar mi manera de Ser. El cambio tiene que venir de adentro. Es una búsqueda personal, pero ciertamente Karla Bayly nos ayuda bastante para ello con este libro, que efectivamente leí en una tarde, pero que me tendrá meditando mucho, mucho tiempo; esperando lograr eso que plantea: controlar Yo a mi Dinero.

Realmente se puede tomar el control de el dinero

En el libro Karla intenta destruir algunos de los mitos que más daño hacen al manejo del dinero, para luego iniciar el proceso de establecimiento de metas y elaboración del plan de acción. Entre estos planes viene uno de 7 pasos para acabar con las deudas el cual a más de uno probablemente les va a salvar la vida ....o al menos les va rescatar del infierno financiero su reporte de buró de crédito.
Su filosofía no sólo intenta llevarnos a hacer las cosas diferentes, si no a ser personas diferentes para que nuestras decisiones estén realmente alineadas con quienes somos.
Muy recomendable para parejas que quieren empezar a hablar sobre el manejo del dinero.
